Does Remeron produce more acid in the stomach?

hi margit
i never heard or read about such an effect of mirtazapine (or any other depressant). as i understand it, antidepressants with anticholinergic activity (tca) could theoretically DECREASE gastric acid secretion, but to my knowledge mirtazapine does not have anticholinergic effects.

I never had problems with it in that way and took it for about 2 years.
