off remeron and wellbutrin and effexor now and starting to feel that great very weird feeling that you get.....its not going to bother me though. im on a mission! work might suck tommorow.
but my meds will be so simple and so much more effective

KLONOPIN 1MG QID
NEURONTIN 800MG TID
i hope im not putting to much faith into Nardil.
just let it work as good as they say
my vitals are fine right now

> rossget a more progressive psychiatrist!! there is no need to suffer...I was taking Prozac (20) and effexor (225) and tegretol...quit that combo, waited maybe five days and went on Nardil (60mg) Neurontin (1800 mg) and Topamax (200mg) with *no* problems...

how do you like the Nardil so far?

> rossI've been on it almost 2 years (little over 1.5 years)...I've tried all the other meds and combos..I have found that the SSRIs had *FAR* more side effects (sexual, cognitive, etc.)
I take 60mg... and haven't changed my diet at all ( Im in the minority) I eat cheese, chocolate drink beer, wine, coffee, etc...
The only side effects I had was a little positional hypotension for the first few weeks, and I have anorgasmia--It has happend maybe 6 or 7 times in 2 years (I'll take that over the other meds--the ssris caused me to be a libido-less zombie)

> NEURONTIN 800MG TIDMost people can take Klonopin just two or three times a day. Is it really necessary for you to take it in four divided doses?
You don't need to change the things you eat until the day before you start the MAOI.
The two-week washout is pretty conservative, as has been mentioned. You can never be sure how long you need to wait, but I switched from Parnate to Marplan with only two days in between.
