I was wondering if anyone else was taking 75mg of Remeron or more. I can't believe that my doctor has me taking this much. I looked for the first time today on the web about it and don't see that anyone else has taken more than 45mg. I don't really notice much differance between 45 and 75mg to tell you the truth. I have been taking 75 for about 2 weeks now. I just know that I still am having panic attacks. I would like to get to a lower dose of Remeron but not sure the best way to do it or even if I should. When I found that no one else was taking as high as a dose that I was I had another panic attack. I am so tired of feeling like this. Does it get better. My main symptom is shortness of breath. Can any one advise? thanks a head of time.

LOWER you dose. THat high of a dose will cause panic attacks due to the increase norepinephrine. Start at 30mg. Add a benzo. This sshould wipe out any panic attacks.

Hi,I take 75mg (for 14 days each month) and have no problem with it, but then I think my brain chemistry's totally bizarre anyway! I sure don't have panic attacks or shortness of breath. If it isn't working for you, lower the dose. You could try 60mg, or go to 45mg.
