Just started neurontin to go along with nortriptyline and elavil, hoping to quit elavil. I'm hoping that the neurontin will help with sleeping at night and help with anxiety and irritability which happens when I decrease elavil.
Just a couple of days on neurontin, morning and night, and have been having racing thoughts; just a lot of thoughts and questions in my mind. Will this decrease as time goes along or just trial and error?

I always thought that Neurontin _decreased_ anxiety rather than caused it....but complete your trial of taking it every 6 hours anyway. How much are you taking?

I'm just starting at 100 mgs. at night. Should I be taking it also in the morning?
