Those of you who have taken it generally find it to be stimulating, right?

No, I took up to 5 mg daily and didn't notice anything. Does not work for me.

I have some Parkinsons type troubles with taking SSRI's and have experiemented with Permax (pergolide) and with Mirapex (pramipexole). The Permax hits D2 receptors fairly hard and I did notice some stimulation, but the Mirapex made me very very sleepy, and when I woke up from taking it at nite to help sleep I felt dysphoric and somewhat agitated. I think the Permax is better and cheaper (but it is more nauseauting).

I wouldn't call it stimulating but it has lifted my anhedonia and I feel like doing more things than I used to.
