To GREG :-)

Posted by Kath on July 12, 2000, at 16:27:55

Hey Greg - Hope you're doing okay - You're a sweetie of course, also "The Bomb". Yup, I think I'd rather be dealing with terrible two's right now than traumatic teenagers, or whatever your "T" word was for them. When I'm saying things like this, I always feel guilty because Cam's Suzanne sounded so lovely. However, SOME teenagers do test our ability to keep sane, even if we aren't sane to begin with !!

I didn't write you more about my "travels" because I have a low self-esteem & thought "Oh, he's just saying that to be polite & friendly; he probably doesn't REALLY want me to "babble" on about that!" Soooo, it made me feel nice to have you say that. Thanks :-)

I think I'll have to go back & print off my original rambling about my Kilbear holiday. I don't want to repeat myself ad nauseum! I'd love to gab about it. I might copy some stuff out of the journal I kept. It'll be nice writing about it, because it will make me remember it!

I do hope you're feeling better. Thx for being a nice person.

Hugs, Kath

Hi Kath,

Your kind words are making me blush.... ;^)

I think the word I used was tortuous, sounds accurate anyway. At least you can put a two year old to bed for awhile, mine just keep going like the Energizer Bunny!

I REALLY want to hear all about both trips, but don't go out of your way, any time you can get to it would be great! I'm sure you have alot of neat things to tell me, I hear Canada is really beautiful! Cold, but beautiful. Then again, when you live in 100 degree temps most of the summer, pretty much everywhere else is cold....

May your mail box contain only love letters, your gas tank always be full and your tennies always be comfortable....or something like that.

Hugs,
Greg

Hi Greg - No blushing is allowed here at Psycho Babble - didn't you remember that from when you registered? Just kidding! I'll answer through your post...............

.......Ya - tortuous would do it!

.........Okay. I'll have to wait 'til I have time, but I'd love to share!!!!!

Cold, but beautiful. ..............Tina & I say "Hey, what's this COLD business?" ;-) I guess 100 degrees most of the summer makes anything else seem cold, but I don't tend to think of 80's as cold & we get lots of them in the summer. I don't even think of high 70's as cold!! What general area do you live in that it's 100's? I'd like that I think if it was DRY heat. I don't like humidity - apart from the fact that it makes me feel sluggish, it makes my hair go fuzzy!!

Then again, when you live in 100 degree temps most of the summer, pretty much everywhere else is cold....

......That sounds pretty nifty. I just heard a nice one today. "Work like you don't need the money, dance like no-one's watching & love like you've never been hurt."

Hi Greg - a quick addition - I just wrote a bit to Jennifer about my adventure on Mount Mansfield - the highest point in New Hampshire. The post is dated today & is up above here to Jennifer somewhere. Feel free to read it.

See ya' - Kath

Hi Kath-- Sorry to interrupt, but I was under the impression that Mount Mansfield was in Vermont. Does it lie on a border or something?
Thanks for slapping Greg with the cold thing, he thinks that it's cold here even in summer. I think he should visit and we'd show him a thing or two about a Canadian summer. If you want me to, I can tell Greg where your post about your trips to me is and he can just read that instead of making you type it all again. Let me know.
Love ya hunny
Have a good one
Tina

Hey Tina - You're absolutely right!! It is in Vermont - I knew that!!! Just typing the wrong thing. Yes, Greg should be sure to bring his skiis - even in summer (heh heh) oh, yes & his bathing suit!!

Sounds good about telling Greg about my posts. If he wants still more info, he can tell me.

Good thinking! Have a good day; sorry about the lack of sleep.

Luv' ya' Kath

Hey Greg - Please read Tina's post above. And please LET ME KNOW if you want more of my travel info than you read of PB. I'll depend upon you ASKING, or actually, I'll probably ask you in a bit if you want more details. And yes, the mountain is in Vermont.

Hope you're well. Hugs, Kath

Are the two of you picking on me here, or am I just being paranoid? Tina is the one who is always telling me how cold it is there. I'll read your post and let you know what other stuff I want to know.

Snow skiis and a bathing suit, Yeah, that'll happen.....

Hugs,
Greg

Oh, I'm sorry Greg :-)

Well, I understand that where she lives is VERY cold in the winter, so that's what that part is about.

Don't be paranoid - we luv ya'.

How're you doing these days? I'm not feeling quite as great as I was. I think it was seeing my son for 2 days in a row! I feel somewhat yucky & it makes me feel a bit panicky & like "Oh - maybe my dosage needs to be upped", when really it's probably just that I'm having a yucky couple of days because stressful stuff is happening & I will have a full range of feelings even on meds - which is a good thing. But it's hard to know - similar to how you felt - when is this going to change? Am I going to feel like this all the time now? Will I feel worse, etc. It's a bit un-nerving. Oh well, I'm going out the back & sit with a cup of tea & read my book!!

Take care Greg. :-) Hugs, Kath

Greg: Go to the June 19th archive and scroll down about half to two-thirds and you should find the post titled "Yo All I'm Back Wow From Kath" dated June 28/00 and a little farther down is another titled "YO I'm back from camping" Kath. She doesn't say much about the Bruce Trail trip so maybe you can drag that out of her. There is a thread about the homecoming being rotten with her ex and everything but I'd like to hear more about the Bruce Trail too. Sounds like a nice place for two people to get away from the world and be alone. So Kath, if you are reading this post too, please tell us how the trail walk went with hubby.
Luv you both
HUGS and sunshine :)

Hi both - Well Greg, do you know what you're letting yourself in for re teasing!

I'll write you guys a detailed account of our Bruce Trail time soon. I'm visiting my daughter next week. She lives in Guelph, Ontario & we might go camping out in the country on her friend's 15 acres of nobody-living-there land.

Take care both & Tina I hope you get some damned sleep tonite.
