Hi everyone,

I'm feeling a bit silly now, but I have decided that I would like to come back! I have cut down a lot on my internet time, and I would really like to be able to help others and be there for everyone who was there for me. I think I just needed to know that I could 'survive' without babble, and now I know I can (for 5 days, at least!)

I am feeling very positive. I'm also really quite surprised at how 'quickly' I have gone from huddling in a blanket all day to being motivated and almost happy. Thank you to everyone who wished me well! (Your wishes weren't wasted)

Rach

Hey Rach - Welcome back. You don't need to feel silly! But at least you're in touch with your feelings which is a great thing. I'm glad you're back.

Hi Rach!

I'm glad to see that you're back! I want to apologize for cutting you off so abruptly yesterday but I had a minor emergency and had to take off in a hurry. I promise you that I'm not one of those flaky Americans (well, not entirely flaky...). Welcome home.

Hugs,
Greg

Welcome back. What are you doing these days? I assume school is out for a while?

I've got one more week and then I have to start Uni again. So I'm not doing anything at all - just lazing around!

Welcome back, Rach! Funny, I have often considered taking a break for the same reasons you did. Sometimes I just spend too much time in front of the computer and feel like I should be out enjoying life more. But I realized that PB is an important PART of my life, and just like everything else that is important to us we have to make room for all of it. Everything in moderation, everything in good balance. Glad to see you back, hon. You already feel like an old friend. Peace and love. And a big hug.

Todd

Good to have you back, Rach. (nm)

Lazing is good.

As for starting up again, will you be taking as full a load as last time, or will you be easing up on yourself a bit? Are there any supports you can put into place as the semester begins, so that the pressure won't be overwhelming?

Noa,

I'm taking a full load (which is 4 subjects), but two of my subjects are first year subjects that are pretty light, so as far as work load is concerned I am doing 3 subjects. My counsellor and doctor are a part of the Uni staff, so I have them around (and easily accessable) if I need. I also have very supportive friends, and my family is only 1 1/2 hours away (and one phone call) if I need them. So I am feeling pretty confident.

Hugs to everyone!
Rach

Rach, Thanks for filling us in. Good luck, and keep us posted. Get the support you need and don't let stuff pile up on you. I remember what college was like!
