anybody use celexa or wellbutrin?

Posted by Izstaria on January 10, 2000, at 1:24:04

I am considering trying celexa. I tried zoloft which made me feel flat and had physical problems such as weakness and lack of energy. I tried buspar which made me crazy. I was real moody and angry-violent. I want to know if anybody has had bad reactions to celexa as well as good reactions. How about wellbutrin?

If you look over some of the earlier posts, there are many threads on both and as with all ADs the results vary with one's individual bio-chemistry. I'm currently using Wellbutrin and am not feeling great, however that may be a cold or that may be a side-effect of varying AD dosages...For me it has been somewhat energizing and generally I haven't noticed side effects to the degree I had with Paxil, Zoloft or brief trails of Celexa and Effexor...Others have experienced rages on Wellbutrin...

I have been using Celexa for only 3 weeks. I've felt the difference (as has my family members) that it is doing for my Depression. At first, there was thrist and then there were the shakes. Now, I feel "brighter" BUT within an hour of taking my pill I develop a severe headache. Which does seem to be going away alittle at a time. The doctor has explained to me that I will be going through the adjusting of the meds nd to hang in there until this adjustment is finished before I make up my mind about the Celexa. Of course, after reading some of these posts here on Babble....I am somewhat confused. I think everyone will react differently to this medication and you will also. You need to give any medication time before you can honestly judge it. Let me know how it goes for you.
