Can Welbuton be used for depression if the subject also suffers from anxiety?

I'll chime in and say I think so. The benzo family
(ativan, klonopin, xanax) work well for anxiety and
wellbutrin can work for depression. I have taken all
these and am now only on 1/2mg risperdal and 1/2mg
klonopin. I am in between ADs right now, maybe I
(we, my doc & I) will try a lower dose of wellbutrin
this time, last time, by 300mg I was itching. I
cant recall reading much about wellbutrin exacerbating
anxiety, but I could wrong, they all effect everyone
a little differently anyway. Hope this helped.
Sincerely
dave

Sometimes it can make you feel a little anxious to begin with, but it goes away if you hang in there. Paxil is good for anxious depression, too, if you haven't tried it.
