my wife has major dep. & severe anx.for about 20 yrs. nardil,tranzine worked fair for the last 2 yrs.they lost effect. she had e.c.t -4 times,they tried almost all medications with little effect.she's been to 3 different hospt. a total of 14 times in 2 yrs. she is in one now almost 40 days &seems to be getting even worse.I don't no what to do next.She lives in pure HELL ! The doctor doesent know what to do and has set up apt.with a neurologest nxt. mo. she'll never make it that long .Any help or sugestions .PLEASE!!!!!!! aquint.

James here....A consult with whoever in your community who is absolutuly up to date on all the meds and augmentation meds that are used presently is
the direction I would presue. Perhaps the neuro man will be this person, if not ask him/her who to see. You are looking for a psychopharmacologist. perhaps try going out of your community to a major medical uni.james
