I have had two by-pass surgeries. I believe I am ADD and want to start using a CNS Stimulant but want it to be as safe as possible because of my heart contition. Are there any CNS stimulants that fall into that classification?

Cylert would possibly be OK but you'd want to check with your cardiologist. Otherwise, the safer alternatives would be Wellbutrin SR, Prozac or Effexor. These are all antidepressants, but have been effective in treating some adults with ADD. You'd want to try Effexor last and not exceed 225 mg per day unless the cardiologist says its OK due to a possible risk of increased blood pressure over 225 mg.
