What is one strange/funny fact about you?

Posted by thuso on April 11, 2006, at 23:06:34

Now this can either be from your past or present. Everybody has something strange connected to them in some way. I'll go first...

For my 4 years in High School, my student ID number was 666. Seriously!!! I have pictures and the actual ID to prove it. hehehe

Now I was actually quite proud of having that ID (I still have it to this day). How funny is it to get the number of the beast as your student ID number when you're a conservative christian? What are the odds??? hahahahaha!!!!!

When I really wanted to mess with people, I would joke around about being the spawn of satan. :-P I thought it was hilarious even if my friends and youth pastor didn't. It must be the rebel in me. Or it could be my very twisted sense of humor. ;-)

What about you?

Does it just have to be one? LOL

I had a streak of passion red, then purple, then blue hair for a couple of months. Then I alternated between the blue and the purple.

Now my hair is back to black.

I love the colour of green jello and emeralds and I love Dr. Bob. Teeheehee. :-)

Once in a while when I get marshmallows, I squish and squish it until it becomes a sticky, gooey goo. Then I eat it. LOL

In San Francisco, the telephone company for most of the Baby Bell years was Pacific Bell, a/k/a Pac Bell. One of their main corporate office buildings was at 666 Folsom Street, in San Francisco.

It was known far and wide throughout the company as "Pac Hell."

And I really do have webbed toes. It's the three middle toes, on each foot, and the webbing is not all the way to the ends.

Unfortunately, it doesn't make me a better swimmer...

My belly button that is. My classmates and I have taken my temp. via it and it's remarkably accurate!!!

I have and sometimes still do the marshmellow thing. We used to call it ghost gum.

Fairly new here, been floating around getting the lay of the land, thought this would be an interesting way to jump into posting.

HELLO EVERYONE

I can tie shoelaces with my toes/feet. Of course, they must be someone else's laces, as I need to use both feet to do it.

That I care about others and animals before myself. Isn't that supposed to be wierd. Aren't we supposed to care about ourselves first. And that's where I get confused cause I've always thought that was selfish. Love Phillipa

The woman we bought our home from has my maiden name. It's not a common surname and I've rarely met anyone with it. It weirded me right out when I saw the closing documents. Like I was selling myself the house.

And she was an absolutely beautiful woman, too. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. It was akin to Gwyneth Paltrow saying she was wanted.

She beat the crap out of a guy. Put him in the hospital with serious injuries. I couldn't imagine how someone that cute could cause such damage, but she was apparently a wild woman when pissed. I didn't stick around long enough to find out.

That was during my phase a few years ago after my ex and I split up when my bipolar actually seemed like a positive attribute. In my manic phase, I partied my brains out and dated some pretty interesting girls. Of course, in retrospect, you could probably substitute "troublesome" for "interesting," but they could say the same thing about me. That was a crazy couple years.

Who knows, maybe I ran into you at some point. I've done my fair share of partying in NYC, though my favorite times are when business takes me to New Orleans or Boston. I'm pretty much a laid back wine drinker now, but whenever I get into those towns my meds go by the wayside and I go back to my "out til dawn" days. Just did that on Bourbon Street a few weeks ago.

It's tough getting crazy euphoric and not being able to turn to my old destructive outlets, but the morning afters are a lot nicer now. I learn slowly, but at least I'm learning.
