Yes, its a good beach as far as I remember. I went there as a kid and have fond memories!!!! My opinion Daytona is the best, but others will disagree. They are all pretty good beaches here. My wife works at Disney. I hope you have a safe and most of all HAPPY trip!!!!!!!!

Thanks blkvettes, I am hoping my energy picks up a little for the trip. I will have my two kids with me and we are planning alot of activities. I just upped my lex from 10mg to 15mg and seem to have more energy. For two weeks on 10mg I had alot of energy, then it went away. I hope it lasts with the 15mg. No more panic attacks though.

hi luziluna!

you have just come up with our new slogan for our new lexapro marketing campaign commercial!

see we shoot a series of positive testimonials from our posters about, "Why Lexapro has been Good for Me!" ... so we'll have wayne and okpolosi and we'll have to get bill l. and you and dc and ohio girl oldhand and dysfunk and handmemymidol and leeran and sussus and bridgette k. and donia and newuser20 and ayuda and brandij and shoff and valerie and egr and mkvelocity and vandy and bearded lady ... and we can interview each of us at home, see .... and then we would <special effects> converge on oldhand's in ohio and from there we would <special effects> swoop down to the beaches at wayne's and dc's and settle into our tropical lexapro palm treed paradise of sand. sunset and samba .......

all i got to do is go get forest labs to hire me as director for lexapro marketing and then ......

two weaknesses in my little dream-world:
1) i am not experienced nor qualified for the job;
2) we should doubt that lex is for everyone, but ....

At Least We Can Dream!!

Hi there, I know it is hard and glad the panic attacks have stayed away. I have had them to!!!!! I went to a wedding this past weekend and was very scared to go with 150 people there. But I did great with minor anxiety. I was proud of myself. Have you got tickets for Disney. Email if you want to hear of a great deal, like free!!!!

I would have to be one of those that disagrees. I drove over to Daytona beach shortly after I moved here and quite honestly I was not impressed at all. I found Daytona beach to be rather "dirty" looking. My 16 year old son isn't to anxious to return there either. Oh well, that's what makes the world go round. It is a stress fracture. Don't know how I did it. I take Metamucil daily, even before all this medication. Maybe I need to take more? Thanks for your kind thoughts.

B complex is good for PMS symptoms like weight gain, cravings and bloating. Take it about a week before your period and maybe it will help. I find some months it does, some it doesn't.

hi dysfunk,

gotta judge whether we're getting proper (in computer terminology) 'throughput' to judge if constipation is still an issue and if you want to increase our metamucil .... or so i'd guess anyway.
in these regards i'd encourage more fresh fruit(s)....(mmmmmm, Apples...) ... and lots of water and fruit juice(s) and .... did i mention water?

stress fracture of unknown origins ....(?) .... a mystery! .... and rather poetic/symbolic ?
just exactly how Much pressure have you been 'under' lately, anyway? (grin)

well, the sympathies and concern are just the same from here .... could we qualify for any good pain medicine(s)? ... maybe? (with lots more water!)(ha!)

ms dys, i have been reading your posts (along with those some select group of our long-time posters) and besides coming to have a great appreciation for your knowledge, insights and humor, i have become, well .... fond of you, so my kind thoughts for you come to me naturally.... it is the least i can do ... because you (and others here also) have done so much for me.

i thank you,

As for my favorite, I would have to say the Keys :-). If I had my choice that is, but got spoiled with the Keys being that my family still lives there and don't ever have to find a place to stay or pay the "tourist" prices for rooms LOL. The sunrises and sunsets there are the ultimate. But, when in Lauderdale I usually went to Pompano Beach or Fort Lauderdale beach. But, stayed away from the "strip" part of Fort Lauderdale. Usually went more down to the North and even farther North like Commercial. I am going to try and check out Cocoa Beach this weekend. I have never liked South Beach. Anyone on vacation likes it because it is "different" but I want to go to the beach to relax and South Beach really isn't about that.

OK DC, you win this round because I have not been to the other beaches. Went to key west a few years ago for a wedding and got to say it was a very intersting place. It was a beautiful sight as we made our SLOW drive throught the keys. I always stay at the quietest part of the beach. Like you, I like it quiet as possible to relax!!! TAKE CARE!!!!!!!!

Seems Daytona is "Famous" ( or could be infamous ) 'cause all the bikers like to go there and drive up and down the beach. Also used to be a big Spring Break destination. I agree that there are much nicer beaches. The prettiest ( WHITE sand ) are in the panhandle, and Clearwater is nice too, just a lot more "touristy".

I've heard enough about Florida! LOL! Is there
still room for a Maryland native? Born, raised,
and probably will die here! Mountains on one
side (husband loves), seashore on the other (my
love)!

Anyway, I'm still hanging on 20 mgs. of Lex and
.25 mgs. of Klonopin. I'm totally off the
depakote now- although my doctor doesn't know
yet. It's been a couple of weeks, but I had to
see why I was "hazy". Still main problem is
depression. We were talking about light therapy.
I noticed that during the cloudy days, I'm down
more. Weird!

I still go out every morning after I drop off my
youngest at school. I need this, and I need to
interact with others for awhile!

Until college is over- I'm watching my 14 month
old grand-daughter, and she's been a blessing to
me!

Sorta at a stand still with counseling. The
sessions are getting further apart. Anybody else
experienced that before? Which leads me further
into realizing that my brain is playing a bigger
role than what I maybe realized at the beginning!

Still feeling tired during the day, and every
few days- I'll sack out during the day. Don't
know where this is coming from!

At a standstill with my weight. I'm fine with
this too- especially when you meet your husband
at work, and get honked at with him in the car!
Embarrasing, but liked it! Gets him jealous.
I'm bad!

Well, I want to try to work off the Klonopin
in the near future. One step at a time though.

As far as skin rashes, I don't have that problem,
but- I am constantly "itching". Especially on
my hands, and arms. This I have noticed.

I also get bloodshot eyes (right one more than
left), and am asked if I've been crying. I don't
like that either. I know that I have allergies.

Besides that- I'm hanging!

For whoever is going on vacation- have fun!
Watch the sun also. Skin cancer (I've seen), is
not so great! Not a nice battle when it "hits".
My mom has it bad. And my middle half sister
has started too.

I look forward to "weekend" vacations down the
road! Think of me at the beaches you guys.
Beach camper!
