Well, what do you think?

Posted by muffled on November 22, 2006, at 17:39:52

My T, she got my inside kid, Blossom, kinda all wound up. Cuz she talked to her and stuff. But now I goto back off cuz I just can't handle it right now. I think Blossom understands OK that we gonna step away from dealing with her problems a bit. But now she feeling all kinda lonely, cuz T hasn't talked to her lately. She kinda hovering around alot. And now my T is sick, nothing too bad, but there is a potential for danger. And the kid is really worried bout her. I guess the kid is scared. And I feeling bad cuz I spazzed last week and called T alot. And now this week I already called 2x, cuz I worried that she not taking sickness seriously. Those were more motherly calls on my part. But now the kid, I dunno, kinda yearns? for her? I dunno. This sorta thing is new to me. Mebbe she just realizing how important T has become to her, cuz the thot of losing her has made her realize it?
I kinda shakey at best right now.
What can I do?

I'm just getting use to this therapy deal. I'm really overwhelmed with how fast I've become attached to my T and I could see how if she got sick I would be worried. Have you been seeing your T for awhile?

I've only been going six months and sometimes I think its a good thing and sometimes I don't. I hope you get to see your T soon so you don't have to stress and worry too much!

I'm sorry, Muffly. My guess is that your T being sick has stirred up all kinds of feelings -- for your ikids and maybe for you, too. Is there anything you can do to comfort Blossom?

I did call my T to ask how she is. She said OK. Not any worse. But she sounded a little tired.
Thats a good idea to comfort my ikid, but i don't really know how. I haven't been very good to her. Though as I write this is might be a diff kid.....hmmmm. Gonna have to think on it I guess...but that makes it worse....SH*T.
My Ma wasn't much for nurture.
Mebbe I want nurture from T?
But thats no good cuz she not around...
Guess I supposed to get it from others?
I feel like such an idiot.
Do others just KNOW this stuff?
Why don't I understand? I am all growed, why do I feel, UGH, needy. OH I HATE this.
Does ANYbody who is like me ever figger this stuff out?
Is there an end to it?

Well my Mother was sick from the time I was two and blamed me so I grew myself up and then she died when I was l7 and I did fine till ll years ago. Sometimes it hits you when you least expect it. And I can't find a therapist who will go into the past forward forward. Love Phillipa

Muffled I tried three here and even one that deals exclusively in anxiety who recommended a book. Needless to say I didn't go back. The others said we don't deal with the past just a plan to move forward. Love Phillipa

(((((Muffy)))) try not to worry okay. But I know I couldn't not worry. My T has some issues on his health, and I feel like he is going to drop dead running around me at the track, so I hate it. I want to ignore it, I want to offer him my support, I want to back away because I don't want to get attached to him if he dies, but yet I am angry too that I even know, and yet I would love to offer him a hug to know that I care.
I am not split, but my feelings are in a way, so I don't know what to think. But I do understand in a way. (((((muffy))))) I love your honesty.
