I'm right here. Thanks for missing me. I missed everybody too.

It has been a busy day here at work (I do a lot of my posting at work- BAD BOY! BAD! SHAME! SHAME ON YOU!!) I shouldn't because I got myself a little behind, so I was playing catch-up. I don't post much yesterday either because we were getting new carpet installed and our house was a shambles. Boy does that make a mess of your life! Furniture in the garage, furniture in the kitchen, furniture in the bedroom, eating on folding chairs and table, no computer and no TV!!! So I took the day off to get things back in order (and do a little shopping.)

But don't worry, I'm not leaving anyone. You all have become an important part of my day.

I'm glad to be back!

glad to have youback (((())))) (nm) curtm

Glad you're out there, I'd miss you if you weren't around. And boy do I know about getting behind bec. of posting and email! We're in the same boat!

New carpet sounds good - even if the house is a shambles, everything will look so good once you're back to normal. Makes me think I better clean our carpets - so we don't have to replace them for awhile.....but I'll put it off, like everything else....

Take care,
fw

Curt,

You're so funny and so interestingly philosophical. You always seem to be able to see a different slant on things. Your wife and kids are lucky. I'm sure you'd always help your kids see the humor in things and always help them look at the bright side. I don't believe you hold grudges either - it just doesn't sound like something you'd do.

My husband is always optimistic and tries to find the humor in things too......we balance each other - I'm moody and tend toward the negative, I hate to say.

(I must have transference!)

** My kids might be lucky, but my wife thinks I am undeveloped emotionally, have no self control, and over-react to everything. She can't tolerate my mood swings sometimes and says that my attitude is negative and "threatening." By threatening she means that I make indirect remarks to belittle her. I think she would not do it again if she had the chance. I push her away because I want her to be closer. Aargh! and I always hold grudges, especially against her.

Sometimes I just want to get on that boat and spend time alone sailing on the cool and bright clear water (Little River Band) hoping that it lands on a completely deserted island with one of those Bud Light beer trees and maybe some cannabis plants.

I understand this...I push my husband away when I want him the most....and then I get upset when he walks away....not out loud, to myself. I think he's supposed to read my mind or something. I finallyl admitted it to him, so maybe I'll stop doing it....I know, he knows, I can stop being angry, right?

I hold grudges too - esp. when I'm hurt. I can't tell the other person how I feel, so I hold it inside, including the memories. And...I tend to be moody. I'm sure I'm a barrel of laughs!

**I sometimes want to run away, but want to take my husband with me - no kids - and just for awhile. I haven't had a break in 16 years, haven't had a vacation in at least 5. My own fault. I'd like to go to Disney, Vegas, and just sit by a pool somewhere warm and sunny, do nothing but sit, read, and play on the computer.
Then I'd be ready to get back in the game.
