Finding God through hard times

Posted by rjlockhart04-08 on March 27, 2012, at 23:24:08

I've been doing some researching on finding serenity and the source where to get it. Finding God through out the years has been quite a journey, lately I have been in doubt and disbelief in knowing something is greater than this life, and there are forces that are unseen that do have an effect on the events of the present time. Faith and practicing faith, its like a seed that you will plant inside and the more you take care and assist the belief that things will change, the more it will grow and manifest into change. But my point is I am trying to use my personal expierience to give you a format that there is hope during these hard times. The ways of this world are carnal, vary much pleasure seeking in obtaining gain in fleshly desires. Once this life is finished, all of it will not matter anymore and is vanity. Evil one uses illusions to decieve people into vanity vary much like Hollywood, Movies are Illusions, they look great but they are not real.

"Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world -- the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life -- is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever." 1 John 2:15-17

"be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, the will of God" Romams 12:2

My view is to find the ways of humbleness and feed the sick and invite the poor and give them food to eat. Alot of Christain authors use their books and sell them for profit and charge people money to enter into their programs and do not even practice the true christain faith in the simple act of charity and helping those In need, the real needy those afflicted with sickness and poverty. Be aware that this is vary common and accepted in todays society and let this not decieve you to know the truth of should be done of workers of God.

I am no divine preacher these are mere words after the conclusion of what I have read and I have much more understanding to learn. God will reveal himself through scripture, events that happen, and through people. Be not deceived by doctrines of the Devil that are disguised in words of light, the holy spirit will give you descernment when you ask him to come into your life. He will reveal secrets, the truth of mysterious and wisdom. Believe.

I do not endorse changing your view this is simply what I have learned from spriritual reading. I do not want to imply anything than the best of intentions of you and that you will understand the mysterious of life

Much Love,
Matt
