Most of you probably know I am looking for a new T. I was finally able to talk to the first one on my list today and she strongly recommended DBT for me, which my T and I had also discussed. What I didn't realize is that DBT involves weekly classes for up to 1 year as well as individual therapy and insurance doesn't cover the classes. I can't begin to afford this monetarily or timewise.

Do any of you know if some people will do DBT within individual therapy? Do you think I can "make do" with CBT instead?

Thanks for any advice or information.
