> Yea, I know what you mean. My Counselor doesn't remind me of anybody else either. I just have a very intense crush on her. So my defintion of transference is usually something along the lines of the same as the freudian defintion without the person reminding me of someone I knew from my past. What do you think? Should I tell her or not?

I say definitely. I think it really helped open up our relationship, at least on my end. This way i felt free to tell him anything and everything. If i couldn't tell him the thing that was so strong in my mind [and body :) ] how could i openly communicate? It was a little embarassing and kind of hot on and off for a long time, but i definitely think it helped our relationship, which is what helped me. Now it is a deep love, tho still a little hot and i am more realistic about it. I don't quite know the definition of transferrence, but i know i love him. I don't know if i would have this deep love feeling for him if i met him somewhere else. Maybe not. bird
