The other clients

My T's office leads straight out from the waiting room, so whenever you enter/leave you see everyone in the waiting room. Except I don't, I just see the carpet.

But I usually arrive at my T's pretty early and at one stage, there was a client that drew my attention because at each visit she used to walk out of my T's office part way through the session. I never figured out if she went to the ladies or if she just had to collect herself or something, but after a few minutes, she'd go back in.

Anyway, Borders is my safe haven and I am there a lot - especially when things are bad for me.

So one day I'm at Borders and looking at a particular group of books and there were a few people beside me. One of them moved and I looked up and it was THE OTHER CLIENT.

I freaked out so badly. I literally jumped back then raced behind another bookcase. Even if she hadn't have noticed me before, she would have then.

And the weird thing is that I haven't seen her since. I mentioned it all to my T, but I don't know if she terminated or moved her days around or what. I'm just glad I don't see her anymore.

Other clients - shudder shudder
