"Now, Dinah. You are working so hard these days, and you know what a stress that puts on you. I know how working extra hard makes you feel vulnerable.

But, you know what? I am still here to help you. You can call me, or even schedule another session, even when you have cancelled.

You were trying so hard to make the right choice - focusing on getting the work done does make a lot of sense. And I think that it is really great that you can push *towards* working hard - many times I think that you just want to hope that you'll just make it through somehow. But this time you were not passive at all - you took positive action in an attempt to help yourself to feel better. That is such a good thing. You should be proud of that. Sometimes, though, even our best efforts don't turn out exactly as we want them to. And that's just the way life is. But you *tried* to make the right choice, and that is what really matters.

But always remember, dear Dinah, if you are feeling that you need some support, I am here. I have your time saved on Friday, but you can call me before then if you want to."
