I thought you'd find this interesting Sig....If you ask Bono, George W. Bush did a considerable amount for promoting fair trade and Third World causes, such as debt reduction and helping to get cheap and lifesaving AIDS drugs to Africa. Bush and some of the top people in the Republican party didn't have to give Bono the time of day (as Bono admitted), but they gave him and his causes plenty. Bill Gates and his DATA organization where another example, and Gates is a staunch Republican. These things certainly are important examples that I hope too are remembered.
