I was taking 80 mg of Parnate which brought me to maybe 50% functionality. At least I could get out of bed and not stay in a dark room curled up in a ball trying to find the position that would make the pain go away. My pdoc augmented with Provigil and Lithium, 200 and 600 mg respectively and I think they were helpful.

Most pdocs probably would be very leery of using something like ritalin or another antidepressant with an MAOI but it's not unheard of, just have to be a little careful.

I know my pdocc is pretty liberal with meds but in all the time I was on Parnate he never mentioned adding another antidepressant or a traditional stimulant.

But if lack of energy is an issue I recommend Provigil. No problems mixing it with an MAOI and 200 mg should last you through the day, no need for redosing.
