Subject: Treating bipolar patients with clozapine

I have had some good experience treating severe, treatment resistant bipolar patients with clozapine alone. There is some literature on this, and often these patients do not need concomitant mood stabilizers (though I frequently will use a combination of clozapine and divalproex).
