Subject: Sleepwalking
The Principles and Practice of Sleep Medicine, Kryger, Roth, & Dement, eds., suggests that benzodiazepines sometimes work, particularly in younger patients. Tricyclic antidepressants have been used for related disorders (sleep terrors).
Overall, there appears to be little controlled literature on meds.
Behaviorally oreinted psychotherapy and hypnosis have been reported to be beneficial.

I have had good luck using Tofranil (not generic imipramine) in children and adolescents with sleep walking/night terrors.I don't know the mechanism of exactly how it works here, but it does work.

Clonazepam has been recommended for non-REM sleep disorders on the basis of a small series -- Brit J Psychiatry, 1994.
