Buspar helps PMS almost as much as SSRIs.

And it is useful for some patients with brain injury (e.g. trauma, stroke or dementia) with behavioral dyscontrol.

We have used buspirone some in post head injury patients for agitation. Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. We published an open series of cases discussing this (Stanislav SW, et al. J Clin Psychopharmacol 1994, 14: 126-130).
