Weaning of from Lexapro with natural suplements

Hi!

I am taking 5 mg Lexapro (weaned off 10 mg. 5 months ago) and when i tried to cut down more than 5mg i felt very terribly bad, a lot of anxiety, insecurity, inability to do things, to relate to people etc.
I am going to a doctor who knows about ortomolecular suplemments and he gaves me:

1)St johns wort (1 morning and 1 lunch)
2)5-htp (at night)
3)Calcium/magnesium Valerian (3 day)
4)Omega 3 fish oils (3 day 450 mg each)

I am following this regime for 1 week and i feel less anxious althoug with depressed feelings sometimes.
I have to visit him in one week. i hope i could wean off completely of this drug that helped me in the short time but created more trouble in the long run with this regime of suplemments.

I would like to comment with other people trying to substitute LExapro or other SSRI with natural suplemments

It's not lexapro I want to stop but long term use of benzos many many years and low dose luvox. Lexapro helped you as ad's do nothing for me but still must take them or feel so wierd. Wearning of valium now. So any suggestions and welcome to babble. Love Phillipa

Yes, I am new to the sight so if I am in wrong area forgive please. I also took the Lexapro, but did nothing for me. After the Lexapro my doc tried me on Buspar, I think thats how its spelled. I didn't like that though, because taking meds was new to me and no one told me it was like what is called a Zanie bar, so I did not know I was supposed to break of a pill and take it, so I was taking the whole bar could not figure out why I was feeling my heart beat in every inch of my body. But I did not have a prob coming off the Lexapro its the Cymbalta I am having a prob with.
