Just how dangerous is poppy pod tea?

Posted by Deneb on August 22, 2009, at 12:04:49

I am seriously considering buying some poppy pods to make tea with. Just how dangerous is this tea?

I plan on drinking this tea for pain only and not to get high.

Is it easy to overdose on?

I wish there was a way to only buy a few poppy pods. I am only planning on drinking it very seldomly as I do not want to get addicted.

Should I forgo the tea altogether because it is dangerous? What do you think?

Hmmmm....I don't suppose morphine for achy legs is overkill?

I wish I had some opiates in pill form.

I think it's too risky man, aside from the highly addictive properties, you can easily get OD'd since you don't know what's the proper dosage for you. (dosage is computed based on you age, sex, weight and other factors)

It best fist to consult a physician before you go and hurt your self with that tea, that plant is used to make one of the most highly addictive substances in the world. please consult with a physician and they will recommend something that is suitable for the pains that you are feeling.
