Anyone heard of this? "Mitragynine Speciosa" It's legal in every country but Thailand and I thought I would give it a whirl tonite. Not sure what it's used for but I think it helps with anxiety.
I'm mixing it with kava kava, damiana, blue lotus and sacred lotus. The lotus flowers aren't for "human consumption" so I guess it's substance abuse. (I'm also taking cymbalta and inderal)
I'm always trying to adjust how my body feels. Sort of like goldilocks and the three bears. I'm still looking for something that's more effective for anxiety - and "just right". Benzos are out since no doc around here will prescribe them to me. Laws are too strict for pot use so I'm trying "alternatives".

Did you try it?
I've been thinking about getting some.

I tried it and didn't especially like it. It reminded me of a sudden jolt of speed and the sensation was pretty much gone within 15 minutes. Not really what I was looking for - especially for the price. I'm not sure it's healthy and would do more research about its effect on the heart before I tried it again.
I've tried numerous legal "ethno-botanicals" and have just about given up the search for a natural anti-depressant. I'm back to herbal tea. I shouldn't have been mixing this stuff with my meds anyway.

I don't smoke (pot either) but last nite I assembled a "homemade" water pipe and tried a mix of equal parts of blue lotus, sacred lotus, passion flower, and damiana. (all legal) I had never smoked passion flower before and it made a huge difference. I think I finally found the answer to cymbalta-induced insomnia.
The things we go through when the doctors won't prescribe benzos.
This is the end of the thread.
