the post-modernist essay generator?

it would string together a bunch of fancy post-modernist sounding words and produce an essay.

it was a joke about how post-modernism is incomprehensible. how people outside the field don't understand the lingo. how it sounded like word salad from the outside.

but that's the way that it's gone.

you produce post-modernist essay generated word-salad to your supervisor and they tell you 'wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong. find a quote from x author. delete that. write this. delete that. write this' until they've written your work for you. years too late. of course. years and years too late after many many years of them telling you how garbage and crap you are and how clever and wonderful you are for repeating their own words back to them extra special slow.

now we get to the judgment generator. from the courts.

we get to the filings.

little phrases.

did you know that teh courts can choose not to process / proceed with a hearing unless you pay a bribe. ahem, a filing fee of around $7,000.

if government prosecutiion functioned the way it was supposed to and actually prosecuted the things it was supposed to then, well...

and if the courts found in the interests of natural justice. actually. well...

and if a person was in the positition to borrow at low credit or whatever... and have that covered by the courts when the courts found in teh interests of natural justice. well...

but we have this case where they argue for the case to be dismissed on the grounds that a 'reasonable and solvent applicant would not pursue the case'. it's basically a formalised way of saying 'the applicant is poor and unreasonable'.

and i get to listen to / read aboout how i am such things. over and over.

because if the court process isn't abusive they aren't doing their job.

that's the only job there is in nz -- right? getting paid megabucks to abuse many people mostly.

they keep putting little garbage phrases in the judgement. sort of accusing me of making a category error.

little pithy phrases that they get from the judgement generator.

things like how the matter 'isn't the right kind of thing to be x'. and of course always with the substitution of the case that you broght befor ethem with the case that is unwinnable.

you say x. they hear y.

you say it is raining.

they say they see no reason to beieve that it is snowing. and by the way teh applicant is unreasonable and insolvent.

they say that while z and p might provide some grounds to believe that it is snowing. this is only a technicality. there is no substance to the fact that it is snowing. snow is the wrong kind of thing to be x.

that's the style of the reasoning.

over and over and over and over and over...

there doesn't appear to be a functioning judiciary.

and it's there. in the judgement of the courts. on the record. for future law studnets to see. to decide if they want to be lawyers in a country where the justices say such things in their judgement.

i mean i suppose the way of it is that there are the people who are going to be paid. collecting up all the money.

and then there's the other kids who we only let into the training programmes because they are fun to abuse at office parties.

i think what happened was this guy was on his way out anyway. or he was out anyway.

it was doing a lot of damage to the big and fancy law firm of wellington that there had been allegations of senior people within the firm sexually abusing studnets.

so they found this guy who is mostly gone anyway... and it seems they out of court settled (or bribed or similar) a bunch of lawyer girls to parade before the courts cases of drunken smooches stolen at busy parties. the sort of thing that was comparable to what you would get in a nightclub. only not acceptable because of who he was and the power differential.

and of course the courts will find he was wrong. and give him a slap on teh wrist. and proclaim to have rescued the notion or ideology of justice for a new generation.

but the out of court settlement was likely for outright rapes conducted by people who are likely still there.

i mean to say people were upset about x going on in the firm (a very serious offence in any country you like).

the rumors of someting in the vicinity of x were pretty bad.

to 'disarm' the rumours they get a bunch of people to make allegations of the lesser or least version of x that there is.

and of course the women who are likely still being sexually abused by present people within the firm... and the like...

are given teh very ery ery very clear message indeed that there will be no justice for them in the courts.

i imagine that they see who seems susceptible.. amendable... the office parties. teh senior partners. and the ones deemed suitable get introduced to the judges.

i imagine that's how it works.

it's interesting how in teh court rooms you get different judges, for sure.

whether they think they are bowing before the insignia (representing justice) or whether they think you are bowing before them.

you get little inclings in the questioning. when i am respectful because taht's the way i am. when they still feel the need to assert their dominance for arbitrary reasons / arbitrary grounds. to see if i am a person who will do that.

failing to do that. failing to cow before an arbitrary and capricious judge is...

fatal.

in their eyes.

it's the little psychopath test that there is to ensure only the psychopaths get picked

(oh pick me pick me!)

what a f*ck*ng farce.

i am trying to think about whether a suitably clever... whether a person with a modicum of intelligence... would think it correct that, on the basis of the reports of examiners, the dean was lawfully able to choose any outcome of examination other than outcome c.

i am trying to think about whether a suitably clever... whether a person with a modicum of intelligence... would think it correct that, on the basis of a law that says 'new zealadn universities are required to allow their students and staff the academic freedom to work to international standards of scholarship' means that when the student submits work to go to examienrs then the university is obliged or required to get that work to examiners in a timely fashion thereby allowing the examienrs to sign off.

i think it is obvious.

but NOBODY in new zealand agrees with me on that.

they all say that, well, it doesn't actually matter. because that's what they did. not sign me off. so they just do whatever. and, well, that's just the way that it is. and lifes not fair sometimes. and that's just life.

that's what they say.

and then there will be this whole thing of, well, medicine was a bit of an ask. i mean, that's for the kids of the rich people.

and then there will be this whole thing of how i'm too old.

that's what they say. the people i... used to know.

in new zealand.

and that's why i don't really associate with them anymore.

because i don't want them to rub off on me.

they can accept that if they want.

that appears to be what it means to be a new zealander. to embrace being part of a nation of bullies. highest rate of child abuse in teh developed world. we are so proud!! best place to be a pedophile in the world!! highest rate of involutnary incarciration / detention for people who have not been found guilty of a crime. i mean... why wouldn't you when you are getting away with it.

it's very bleak and oppressive here.

peope were only supposed to live to around the age of 40. then they die... manhy seem to be being murdered, these days. i don't find it partiuclarly plausible that they are just dropping dead. or killing themselves. harder to kill yourself than you might think.

i suppose it is vaguely threatening. reading about all these cases in the news.

they decide there was no foul play before an investigation.

and i think it was jerry brownley who said 'when we say there's nothing to see that means there's something to see so when you (china) says there's nothing to see about xx then i am conccerned'.

that means that when the new zealadn governmetn says theres nothing to see then that means that there's soemthing to see.

they decide that deaths of young people (but we call them old) are not suspicious without an investigation.

and we decide that something is suicide without an investiatino.

we even decide that that dead body is this peson without an indentification so far as i can see.

they seem very very determined to have people believe that this is howw th world works (does not work) and this is what the world is like.

only...

it seems to be new zealadn. the aspirational goals had by our partiuclar leaders.

it's why nothing grows or develops here. why we dno't have anything really coming out of the universities.

do i really think we had a 100 millino dollar software company sale? do i believe nz has that kind of it capacity / capability?

maybe... as a front end that plugs into something... maybe...

but the 100 millino dollar offer...

was likely supposed to help the goverment see value in something it's got.

and it just won't.

so... you know.. how sh*tty does our foreign offering need to be?

how sh*tty does a vaccine need to be before you decide it's worth investing in research ad development and manufacturing yourself?

it isn't that we dno't have neough people.

well.. we don't have enough homo sapiens.

the government refuses to see / allow people.

that's for sure.

uh... where's my degree?

where's my money.

dollar dollar bills 'yall.

where's my research scholarship for the research work i did?

oh.. nobody is allowed to do research work in nz.

it's all post modernist essay generated rubbish or...

teh scholarships are just a front for traffickng funds into the kids of tehe administratiors bank accounts is all. so far as i can see...

right.

the 100 million dollar offer for the new zealand software company that was doing administration records keeping stuff for hairdressers and the like...

was supposed to do something... so it could be listed on the new zealand stock exchange. publically traded. or whatever.

people could have invested in a new zealadn company.

but it was actually sold to overseas.

and i think it was the very next day that the entire waikato hospital ground to a halt because computer system (including phone lines) no work-y no more.
