The solution to the problem lies in the conceptualisation of the problem.
The VC last year refused to acknowledge my completion -- which was wrong of him.
But he is a bad man. And his replacement starts end March.
I suppose what they are doing now is data collection...
Could the University Admissions Process distinguish a phoney transcript from a real one?
They could not.
Could the Director of Admissions?
He could not.
Could the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences (under the Dean) put the reports of the examiners together with the Univesrity Regulations?
They could not.
Of course... THe Dean of the School of Graduate Research of the University of Waikato is meant to make the final decision on the awarding of the Degree and none of those people outrank the Dean.
So...
Now it is with someone who is higher level than the Dean.
I suppose the whole world waits with baited breath as to whether things are so f*ck*ng corrupt with the Univesrity of Auckland that their Academic Vice Chancellor might lack the ability / inclination to understand / follow Regulations.
He earns how much each year to do his job?
C'mon Professor.
I know you've been head of the libraries through all the library closures...
Was it the Evil Vice Chancellor or do you have a mind of your own?

I am scathing about the books I read because I wrote a book -- and nobody acknowledges the book that I wrote.
They were paid how much to write their book? How much did they earn as their book was wrote?
I didn't ask for the money. I didn't ask the recognition. All I asked for was one simple f*ck*ng thing: I want to study Medicine and become a Medical Doctor.
You can have all the money.
You can have all the recognition.Take it.
It's yours.
I'm glad that you get to have the things that you want in life.

How about allowing other people their way of life, too?
Instead of trying to starve them and force them into doing all the things it is that you want them to do.
How about letting other people have their way of life, too?
They don't even want Doctors.
They don't even want their kids to sit the USMLE.
They just want to stop all the kids from sitting the USMLE.
Their kids don't get to nonen of the kids get to.
We will pay the kids $5,000 (most of it coming back in accommodation) so they can do 'advanced research' -- just so long as they don't get to learn (or heavens forbid study) basic science.
I'm like... HOw did these people get to control the University...
That's right.
The VC put them there.
But I suppose he had the support of the council along the way.

I just don't understand why they couldn't just do their f*ck*ng job. Just process the application. Just process the completion. All the things. Why won't they just do their job? The job for which they are paid?
Oh, yeah, because they are only paid to do their job because they don't.
And why would it be so very very very very bad if I got to study Medicine?
What do they think I am going to do that would be so very terrible?
Oh, yeah, it's this whole idea of being grateful for whatever scraps you are given and that brownnosing is the thing that pays of best-est of all.
They want their kids knowing / believing that. They want that to be so. So their kids invest in brownnosing to them instead of investing their time in things like studying biochemistry or cell biology.
They don't want their kids thinking that there is anything for them in life other than a life of brownnosing to them.
And I represent something else. Options.
They don't like it. 'Go back to doing whatever you were doing before you came here' is their response.
If I won't brownnose to them they want me to go the hell away. They don't want anybody believing there is any other way in which to live.
