It is very challenging for me. They are into conspiracy theories, anti gay, almost antisemitic. They are hypocrites. My mother has declined psychopharmacotherapy by a doctor like 10-20 times. My mother tells me that i never made an effort for anything. Nice people!!

I'm sorry that your family dynamics are so challenging. It must be frustrating. I'm glad you can recognize the dysfunction and not be a participant in it. Stay strong.

My family is fairly crazy, too.
I have learned that my Mother can be great about some of the things, some of the time, but persistently awful about other things.
My Father was a kind and gentle guy, for the most part, but sometimes he would come out with the most awful racist crap and I don't know why or where he got that from.
I think most people have an element of that somewhere in their family...

Well they also had a very nasty divorce when i was 5. It didnt help me. I think in terms of dysfunction they are pretty hardcore.

My mom comes up with stories how there is going to be a civil war in germany. Apparently being unmedicated doesnt really pay off.

The nazis were actually nice people who were defamed by the allies.
She is forcing me to break with her.
We sat in a restaurant with people on around us on other tables. It was so embarassing.
I had to take extra Seroquelat home to not go crazy! I needed one hour to feel ok again.
