Miss this one

Posted by Phil on October 25, 2013, at 20:18:46

You ever reach a stage of your life where best friends stab you in the back? Everyone's a hater even if you don't speak? You do the best you can with a wacky disease every night you hallucinate dog barking by your bed opera singer in the room and you say it will be better tomorrow but it never is? Me neither. But I dread going to bed. There isn't enough Seroquel in the world. At least my friends call to express their concern. Sorry, I hallucinated the phone ringing.
It's my girl, open fire. What's in store for me when I try to sleep tonight. Like going to bed with your spouse and they are a polar bear.

My roommate for 15 years, the greatest cat in the world, Jules. I had to put him down in August. I'd rather slit my wrists. These hallucinations I'm having at night have one thing in common. Jules jumping on the bed and walking up to me. It's so real I reach down to pet him. Even by major cat lover standards they all put Jules first. There are no words to say how much I miss him.

Very much. I've been pissed and the world lately. When I the pictures and his last day the tears started falling and I realized I've been stuffing the pain too long. Apologies to PC.

Last one. You could take every musical act as if they never existed if I had Amy. This is one of my favorite songs of hers.

Phil, did u ever get another cat or 2? I just acquired a 2nd one. It was crying in the woods as I was hiking by. It followed me 2 mi home. So I kept her, Frankie. She's a gem. Im reading a great book, "A Street Cat Named Bob". A recovering addict takes in a ginger street cat in London, and true story, the cat changes his life, for the better of course.

I don't what I would do without my cat. Had two beautiful brothers from the same litter, Rocky and Bullwinkle, who lived to 18 and 19, respectively. Bully had diabetes for the last 4 years of his life. The insulin injections didn't bother him a bit. He stayed with my ex, and Rocky moved with me and my husband to Florida. I don't know if it was the air or something, but he got dementia.

Now Psycho is the cat in my life. Naturally demented, she will run laps around the entire home after having a pee, in sheer delight.

Cats are the most special kind of people.

All is forgiven, Phil.

I need to get on the stick. That book sounds great.
If Jules was a human and he had $10, he would give you $9.

Means a lot I'm an emotional wreck today. I should know the signs.
I love cool pet names. When I got Jules my brother said are you going to keep that name? lol Yeah, but only because it's perfect for him. What are you thinking, Tiger, Jethro? Jesus.
A vet got in my face because Jules was overweight and she didn't want me to have to give him shots. I wasn't very successful. If I didn't feed him what he was used to he would eat sheetrock off the wall.

So now I have a lap dog and 2 cats. They all bring me alot of happiness and light! I am not allowed to take in any more strays, so I sure hope I dont come across any...people just drop them off on the road up from my house and I hike everyday, so Im just the first person to see them. Over the yrs, Ive gotten homes for alot, but Ive also had to take some to animal shelter. It haunts me for awhile when I have to do that...
