Why do most things have to close already?

Posted by 10derHeart on June 1, 2009, at 23:29:43

At 9 or 10 pm.

I stay up till 1 or 2 am. I want to go shop at 11pm or midnight. I don't want to frequent the 24-hour Wal-Mart only. That would be creepy and get old - fast.

Bah. Why can't the world cater to my nutty, disrupted sleep schedules and my whims, too??

I mean, really, you'd think the employees need rest, and to see their families and stuff! Ri - freakin' - diculous when I am full of energy.

oh well.

i am incredibly weird. (nm)

well, I do that a lot, too, just don't like to admit it so much. I don't know why or how it started. Maybe afraid to sleep, maybe I feel I'm never gotten enough "done" - whatever that is - each day so can't go to bed or I feel like I failed. For me, now it's a really bad habit, but my body is so used to it. I've stayed up till 5 am before, but then I need 7-8 hours sleep at least. Can't really start all your days at noon or 1pm if you want to do lots of different things....at least I can't.

Mostly it s*cks.

You know I would if I could...

Have you ever thought to take up astronomy?

You know, meteor showers don't reach their peak until 2:00am.

You know what's really cool? When the moon appears as a thin crescent in the sky, the faint glow of the rest of its surface is actually earthshine. This is the sunlight that is being reflected off the surface of the earth and landing on the moon.

You know what else is really cool? During a lunar eclipse, the "blood red" effect is actually due to sunlight being defracted through the earth's atmosphere like a prism with the red component being directed at the moon.

You know what else is really cool? ((((You))).

I think you'd like Montreal..:) Even the pizza joints there open at 10 am and close at 7 am (next day) But I don't know if you'd be interested in the city's other 'nightlife'. Doing clubs until 3am (closing time), then underground clubs until 8 am. The beautiful casino is open 24 hrs a day.(I don't gamble much, but I enjoyed sipping on my cocktails and watching people, listening to cool jazz.) There are 100's of great jazz clubs in Montreal. Very 'Bohemian' like....like Paris but much more modern. Low crime and very, very clean, and nicest people going! You don't have to speak French either, although you will want to after a trip there. Then there is 'old' Montreal, a special section of the city closed to traffic, with cobblestone roads, ton's of 'old world' cafés selling the best wines, food from all around the world. Down by the St. Lawrence River, so beautiful and romantic. The city just 'looks' sexy with one tiny glimpse!..lol. Tons of international shopping...huge international clothing and fashion stores and markets...Did I say how clean it was? :) I am thinking of moving there. 100x nicer then Toronto.

Jay
