Got a job!

Posted by TexasChic on May 12, 2009, at 20:55:37

Its low pay, and will start off part time, but YAY!!! If the unemployment comes through it will make things easier, but if not, at least I will have some money coming in now. Its the place I talked about interviewing at in a thread above. They seem very nice and the job seems very easy. Hopefully this will be my chance to get my confidence up and ease back in to the work force. I start tomorrow!

I said ease back into the work force, which doesn't make a lot of sense since I've just been out of a job a few weeks. I guess since this last one didn't work out, I don't feel as if I've successfully gotten back into the work force yet. I hope this one will be something that I can enjoy, while I take my time finding one that is right for me that pays better. This isn't a job that has room for growth or anything like that, its just a decent job while I look for what really fits me. I feel like I'm babbling and I really need to try to get to bed, so I'll let yall know how it goes tomorrow.

Great for you T hun! Just take it slooooooooow. Enjoy the 'part-time' bit, and treat your days with ease and relaxation. Maybe take up Yoga? I've always wanted to...and I've heard lots of good things from people with mental health issues who do it. Take care sweetie..;-)

Hi TexasChic,

I hope your unemployment comes through. I'm still working part-time and my unemployment got extended for another year.

Congratulations. I know how much this job means to you.
