Alright i need everyone here to listen to this.

Posted by your#1fan on January 13, 2008, at 1:09:41

Im going through the most roughest period of my life, there is so many things that are bothering me. Full time Job, Part time school (7 hours) and constantly having to do something at home. And other personal things that are bothering me....like how many friendships i messed up because manic phone calls, in that respect.

I need everyone here please be like my online family or something. I cant talk about this stuff with my family because they think im nuts, for real! i cannot tell this to many people because they think "whoa" w'll be prayin' for ya! ROFL! i just cant talk about these things with people in public you know? please understand me!

I still see life as if i dont have it down, i have to keep "how to do it" book of life. Because my brain is like back in 2005! I cant believe its 2008!!

I'll discuss things that are going on in my life, but im telling you, if there is anyone that can talk things through with me and show me how life works, i would be so happy! Im so confused, sometimes i have so much anxiety....like the other couple of days at the bookstore, i thought i was not "real" i was seeing stuff.

An Overreaction to stress i think is what it was. I "act" ALWAYS like i have it together, but listen you guys, everymorning i dont want to get out of the bed because i dont want to deal with reality, but i get up and i just go! i mess up, accidently on things, cant focus.

But im proud of myself because i've managed to do this with pains of rejection from others on facebook who think im a little wierd, because i dont know how to talk to people with out poaring out a little personal information. But i've improved on that part kinda.... But facebook is a "collage" clean, myspace. Basically. I have alot of friends but i dont even talk to them, i just watch and see whats everyone's doing.

Please be a warm good online communitie here. Please.

I've got to get my life in order and maybe some people here can help.

Im your#1fan

please be mine too

Exactly how do you think we can help? What is it we can do to help you get through this "roughest" time in your life?

I think what many have offered in the past, advice, is probably the best we can do. I don't know that I have any new advice for you, myself -- just the same advice I've been giving you for a couple of years now: get into therapy; examine the way you express certain things (ie: You often write that things happen to you -- yet, you describe events which are within your control. How helpless it must feel to see all of these events as being entirely outside your control! That would be a terrible way to feel. Yet ...); learn your realistic limits -- can you work full time and carry seven hours of classes? -- and get yourself into therapy. I consider all those bits of advice to have value, and potentially to be very helpful to you. They're the most valuable thing I have to offer you, and I've offered them to you.

I'd also like to point out something else: I was taught that clarity in writing reflected clarity in thinking, that sometimes writing something down as clearly -- and concisely -- as possible could help clarify your thoughts. It's an exercise worth trying when things seem outside your control or understanding. It's something which has helped me, maybe it will help you if you try it.

Good luck.

Well, how about taking it one by one. What do you need to understand? From your post it sounds like you already know quite a bit of how life works.

Fan keep up the good work school and a job is a lot. A lot for me. Phillipa but you're young you can do it. I know and hope you will. Are you seeing a therapist?

Alright, im glad you posted!

I am aware that the advice has been given to me, actaully over a long period of time. Its just that, i think what i was asking maybe here was a place to vent and tell people my problems, not just babble, but get to a point to a point of reality.

Lately i have had difficulty with work, when im working in a very "fast" or a "rush" period when about 170 people areto get collage books, i feel im litterly dont feel "real". And i think its a response to stress. I feel im rotating and putting on diffrent persona's to help with my ego. Its not spit personalites, its a mental rotation, because i cant stay in one state of mind with this stress. And plus because of class afterwards I get this immidate feeling of injection of adrenaline.

You know the first day of work i showed up looking like some celebrity..... i made friends really quick both co-workers and customers. ROFL i had throw that in there. I wore slacks, shirt tuck in, sharp.

Anyways..............

<<<<<<<<<<<I'd also like to point out something else: I was taught that clarity in writing reflected clarity in thinking, that sometimes writing something down as clearly -- and concisely -- as possible could help clarify your thoughts. It's an exercise worth trying when things seem outside your control or understanding. It's something which has helped me, maybe it will help you if you try it.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I speak my thoughts a little too much with people. I dont really get to the point sometimes and thats what gets them mad. But i have to say........lately at work i HAVE to get to the point to have a satisfied custumer. What they want, used? new? what tools do they want with it? and maybe convice them to buy a helpful 5.99 study guide for that course. Thats what i do. And in my opnion i feel, i'm making sure that they are satisfied.

That shows that i have skills,..... but in social situations im not that good at it, with small talk, i mainly get annoying. But then when i get that rejected feeling i just roll my eyes at people and act annoyed by them for treated me like some object.

And!..........when it just comes to every day life. I lose keys, forget what i was going to say, repeated vital things that i just absentmindedly do, because when your not in a work enviorment, you have no rules to go by.

Well..........it looks like i went a bit too far in responding....HAha! well maybe its good because you said to write down every thing i can think of.

I have read your post over and over some times to get what your exactly saying. I feel stupid sometimes.....

well...........thanks for the response.

Ya know what? I think you are doing AMAZINGLY.
I know what not wanting to get out of bed & face another day feels like & the fact that you're working AND doing school is something to be VERY proud of.

Sometimes we manage to do okay in some parts of our life & not so great in others.

Please know that NObody is perfect. And nobody's life is perfect - no matter HOW perfect it may look to us. I'm 60 & have had lots of time to realize & see that this is true!!! LOL

(Actually when I say I'm 60 it feels like a massive LIE 'cuz I don't FEEL 60, but I guess it must be true.)

Anyway, I was wondering if you have a therapist, or go for counselling? Don't know if you live in Canada, where at most hospitals you can get this without paying. A therapist would give you a place in real life, where you KNOW you can talk about things. Not sure if you're in high school or college. Most colleges have counsellors in their health department for students.

As you can see by the folks who've already answered, you're cared about here. Please keep in mind also that not everyone always feels 'up to' replying, as they may have big things of their own happening.

Keep in mind: you're doing VERY well, even if you feel dreadful. I'm sorry you feel dreadful & I'll try to be here for you.

luv, Kath

Well i know like how to live, put clothes on and function ROFL!

But i lose track of what im doing alot, i constantly have to, maybe be told over what to do, and then i say "ok" and mess up again. Then go beserk. Thats why i need a "notepad" to by.

I take things one by one, but alot times when i do that my brain isnt "stimulanted" enough to get it done, i have work under pressure, and i work better and faster under pressure, but make errors at the same time. When i have worked for 10 hours, i need some Thorazine or Seroquel to slow me down. My mind doesnt have a normal limit, when its time to slow down, when its time to speed up. Kinda get what im sayin?

From my prescective, i have to be defensive with some people because they blow me off, and i have to justify why my actions. In that respect, when you asked "i know how life works"

Sometimes i ask myself? is it just me or am just being lazy....no because once i know that im being lazy, i get off my butt and do what im suppost to do, i would hate to be called lazy, but its a very easy thing to do when you dont have anything to do one your hands.

I know how life works, but what really mean is how can i control my life? its like i myself be a slave to my own doings!

I think its time for me slow down.....

but thanks for your response MissK.

Thank you so much for your diffrent viewpoint from someone else because right now in my life, and from the prescpective that im seeing it, its miserable and im kinda just lost in life.

I know, you know alot of male figures in my life have critzized me, and even my own mother lately. And i have never got the saying "your on track". I had to say it to myself everynight when i went to sleep. Now having a male mentor is GOOD (im 20) for your personality if your guy, because its obvsious because will pick up on things how a gentlemen acts, not some nervous man that doesnt know how to handle life. I got alot of that from growing up with not knowing how to handle "situations" because i wasnt taught even get envolved, my mom tooked care every thing for me, and i never got to awnser the phone, vital things that i was suppost to. But i still love my mother much, i just realize that there was no male figure in my life, and i turned mainly into someone who acts nuerotic. But thank you so much, for telling me that. I see know im on track, but still my nervous are on fire.

Thank you much for that encourgement.

So sorry to disappoint you but I'm not a guy!! I'm a 60 year old Mom, who has a 23-year-old son!!

I still say, #1 - PULEEEEEEEZ try to get yourself a therapist.... HEY - what better way to have a male mentor than your therapist?

What do you think?

I knew you where not a guy at all, and i dont want any assumptions made thinking that! ROFL!!!!

I saw pics of you in the past hiking here.....

And im 20, my mom is 54. I dont talk about these things with mommie dearest because she will argue and wont listen. Thats the reason i said i want this to be ONLINE FAMILY!!! IM ALL OF YALLS FAN'S.

Im getting a therpist soon! full time job and school AHH! SOMEbody save me, well the only person thats going to save me is myself. Doing things on your own is best, with a good online support like Psychobabble to post too, for advice. Diffrent perceptives.

Racer, Jay, Phillipa, have mostly been my main posters here. But i want to join the community, and become somewhat of social party here...oook doke?

Kath i knew you where not a man, i mean the screen name sounds femiline! and plus i've got advice from you before under a diffrent sc.

Ok so, i want to be in control of my life, not anyone else. But sometimes i need some help...and this site is a good site for help. And i like everyone here. If you met me in real life, i sound very familiar to how i post. I spill the beans!!! ROFL!!

anyway ill go on before i spill some more beans! ROFL!

Hi #1F - what's under a different "sc" mean?

dunno what an "sc" is?

I think it'll be very helpful when you have a T.

Glad you're sounding strong.
