Prayers for Fallsfall

Posted by Daisym on January 27, 2007, at 11:59:13

Hi All,

Fallsfall's dad is very ill and not expected to live much longer. He has had a long, successful life but still, we all know losing your dad is so painful. She's been with him but I think she would really appreciate prayers for his peaceful passing and strength and wishes for her.

Falls -- You've done so much for me for so long. I wish I could be there with you to hold your hand and quietly cook meals and take care of things while you grieve. You are in my heart my friend. Love and hugs,
Daisy

Yes, thanks for posting this, Daisy.

Falls, I went through this about a year ago. Probably a bit different scenario, but in so many ways, no matter what, dads are dads and losing them just hurts so much.

I am praying for you and your family. If you ever want to talk, Babblemail me any time. I mean that.

Thank you all for your special wishes and prayers.

We had a real scare on Friday, but he settled down a bit, and has stabilized today. He is still very, very sick, and we don't expect that he will get better, but he is with us for a little time still. Each day that I can see him is a gift.

It is wonderful to have your support.

You're in my prayers, in this difficult time. Yes, each new day is a gift. May you close this book of life in peace.

My dad died tonight. His death was peaceful, and my sister and I were with him. My mother was upstairs getting ready to go to dinner with us. She came down just after he died, she said that we all needed to eat dinner. That was what she needed to do. So we got dinner. She copes by making sure that everything stays the same.

I was blessed with enough time to say goodbye to my father. He is now at peace.

Thank you all for your prayers and support.

Take gentle care of yourself and your family.

I did the same thing, with my kids. Nobody would have thought to eat, otherwise. I don't think you ever stop being a parent.
