I signed up for a ceramics class and for a new gym: new stuff to do, new places to go, new people to meet!

Working on Goals of:

1 - not beleiving nearly all I hear or read

2 - not spending nearly all I want to spend

3 - not sleeping nearly as much as I desire

measurable and attainable for me, if I try ----
following those would make a new me : 0

I'm leaving on Jan 12 to go to Florida for three days. It's for a conference, but all I'm doing is presenting a poster for the primary author... so I can hang it up and then do what I want! It's being held at a resort right on the beach. I cant wait.

Seriously all I want is to get my thyroid straightened out and maybe find a med that works and if that's not possible a good therapist someone who will listen just to me. I don't ask for much I don't think. Just my health as one thing my Mother said was when you lose your health you have nothing and that's how it was for her. Love Phillipa

i'm looking forward to lots of stuff.

i'm looking forward to my secodn anniversary (april 1). and everyday with my husband (seems like everyday is christmas with him. i always have fresh flowers and just little presents every day of the year.)

looking forward to some good songs on my ipod (any suggestions?)

my birthday this year (july 2, in case you guys wanna send me something. i'd really look forward to a car, but i guess cash will work (no less than hundreds please.)

my husband's birthday is coming up in january. looking forward to getting him something really good (maybe a banjo? that is my favorite instrument and i know he'd love to learn to play.)

gosh, what else am i looking forward to? another perfect year with my wonderful family. another year of continuous babbling (yeah, you guys can look forward to that too!). mr bob making me breakfast in bed (this time, the eggs need to be cooked propery mr bob! trying to make me sick or what?)

lots more stuff to look forward to. especially always beign younger than all done. also, my husband always being younger than i!

one more thing: learning what anhedonic means.

Oh, honey, you do NOT want to learn what ANHEDONIA is. It is the absence of all hope, cheer, pleasure. It is the feeling that chocolate is in your mouth, and you are tasting it, but it doesn´t make you feel anything more than eating soap would. It is the feeling that you could win a billion dollars and feel just as miserable. It is the feeling that tomorrow is the day when something wonderful will happen, but you cannot feel any more anticipation than a date with the orthodontists.

so, let´s hope that no one else learns what anhedonia means. It´s a vacuum, a black hole and it´s so horrible that ´´horrible´´ doesn´t even have any meaning, because there´s no contrast. In order for horrible to have any meaning, it would have to be contrasted with ´´wonderful´´, but wonderful is absent.

sounds like you have a great year ahead

are we still the same age?

well, we´ll always be younger than AllDone, but she´ll always be wiser and more mature...

Wiser? No question.

More mature? That's up for debate.

Scotland is very beautiful, don't forget to go to St Andrews, my old university town and the founding place of golf no less. Its very nice. And if you like small, old, historic towns, both Bath and York are great. And I've lived in both.....if you want any tips....hehehe.

I don't know link. I generally only view the future in terms of doom, eg not being able to get a job once I graduate, not being able to afford to buy a flat, always having mental health problems. Which is very negative I know. Everything seems so uncertain to me that I'm literally afraid of the future.

Oh well. This is being very very very Bridget Jones-ish and girly, but I'm looking forward to getting married to my boyfriend of 5 years and perhaps having a kid one day. But I dunno. I somehow just don't have the energy to live, if you know what I mean.

I always find that when you look forward to something alot, it then never lives up to your expectations once its happened. So I generally have given up on looking forward to things.
