in awhile~ if you're reading this, i wanted you to know that i woke up to those birds singing this morning and for that first time in years was happy to be alive. Hope you are well~xoxox

I think it is so wonderful that you feel HAPPY to be alive. The sound of birds singing is helpful I'm sure.

I have had better days, but I look forward to spring here in Ontario Canada when the birds sing and new life surrounds me.

I hope the happiness stays, it's catchy you know:} E

I think spring is more dramatic, when winter is half the year, eh? (From one Ontarian to another.)

The passerines (migrating birds) will soon be coming back. The first hawks are already moving, and in a couple of weeks, the male redwing blackbirds will be staking out territory.
