So I told my doctor that I haven't been taking my medications. I told him why too, because I couldn't concentrate in class or at home, that I felt like a zombie half the day.
I told him that I wasn't depressed but that I was terrably anxious.
So he told me to start taking them again, and he'd see me in 6 weeks!
I don't know if I should even bother to go back. He only give me 3 minautes of his time. These doctors they really don't care. They must be so sensitized to it all that it just goes in one ear and out the other. I really just want a doctor who cares, thats all.

Ya know, so many doctors plain out have patients on an assembly line. I will maybe vent later about my lovely experiences. Just started with a new doc and all of a sudden he is leaving his practice. I am so upset. I am very sorry for you and if you feel like you are being treated with less than adequate care I say look around. Best of luck to you.
Peace

My doc told me he did'nt have the time to talk to me so I should make sure I get a t or pdoc. I guess the least I can say is he's honest. My doc has been gone for a month now and I have to say I like his replacement better than him, I think part of it is she talks to me and explains things without making me feel like an idiot. She also likes when I ask questions rather than trying to shut me up so she can move on to the next person.
Doc's I don't know what to think

Link I realate to you. I moved here expecting to find better psychiatric medical care. Now I've gone from 30minute sessions to l0minute sessions. It isn't right and isn't fair.Fondly, Phillipa

I'm sorry you guys have bad doctors. I was lucky and my pdoc found me a great new doctor, then I moved. She's still my doctor when I go home... Is there anyway you could find a new doctor? Or go to walk in clinics?

I didn't know you found it...good I hope you enjoy it, I imagine there's not a lot of pdocs like Judd Hirsch anymore though
I think most pdocs really do believe that the drugs can do most of what is really necessary, and whatever is left perhaps they see as "someone else's" problem
depressing in itself really
How are you dealing with it?
