How can I be a better friend?
I'm too selfish.
I don't make people feel good.
If I say that I don't deserve to live, people will just get upset.
I can't do anything right. :-(
I hate this. Every tiny little bump on the road makes me think I don't deserve to live.
I don't even know if that phrase means anything for me anymore. It's like some automatic thing to say.
Can someone talk to me about an incident that has upset me?

as long as we agree to have some boundries.
By that, I mean I am willing to talk to you as a friend, with love and honesty and without the fear of manipulation.
Would you like to talk to me like that?

Deneb,
Don't be so hard on yourself. Try speaking positive. Don't say bad things about yourself. I have a 13 year old daughter and I do not allow her to say anything negative about herself like "I'm stupid" or "I'm ugly"
You are a wonderful creation. Just try speaking positive. For a whole week, everytime something negative wants to come out of your mouth, stop yourself and say a positive remark instead.
Your friend,
Lynn
