Getting uh older.

37

Quick story too... I was on my way into work a couple of weeks ago, and it was misting rain. I got onto the interstate, and there was a 20-25 year old girl walking so I picked her up. She was on her way to work, which was a mile or so down the road. While we were headed there we did the where ya from etc conversation, and when I would ask a question she would answer "Yes sir or No Sir". That's when I thought, damn. I feel old.

lol...

Eh, I don't know Phil, I guess it's only how old you feel, although I admit, she made me feel old.
I've been busting my butt in the gym for a little over a month now, and am actually feeling a bit better about myself. Starting to see a few tiny results, which is making me push harder. The guy I work out with has really bulked up now, and is alot more muscular and defined. That gives me a push too.

you guys aren't old!! my mom has this awesome dermatologist she sees, rated among the top in the area, and she is in her late seventies!! has a very busy practice and tons of energy..she's done some surgery for my mom and stuff that looked *great*..i think age truly can be a state of mind. even though i'm 32, you would never guess it.

btw, i think most of the people on this board are in their late 40s-50s, i've noticed.

Nah, I prefer to think she just knew you were *somewhat* older (and therefore technically her elder) and she was brought up with impeccable manners and respect for people, especially when they are helping her.

So there! And watch the *old* comments there, buddy,.... ;-)

lol.. i knew if I kept posting I'd say something wrong eventually :)
I'm not saying 37 is old or 45 or 55. I could really explain this further, but I think it's an ego thing only. Even if someone isn't really attracted to you, you can at least see a glimmer of a spark there somewhere. Not that time, noooo. All I got was the feeling of, "you're like one of my dad's friends."

chronologically= 38 next month
physically= about 28
emotionally= about 8... (you know, too young to even understand how immature you are most of the time?);
or a (confused, looking for love in all the wrong places) 15 year old sometimes;
