((racer)) you're one tough gal. you still have plenty of fight left in you darling. i can see it in your posts. don't you give up. i know you're frustrated dear. i know you're hurting. i know you just want to rip their heads off. use that pain you have for your favor. to get the help you not only need, but deserve. i'm so very sorry you are hurting right now dear. but, you have plenty of fight left in you. i'm thinking about you dear. take care of yourself. and don't you give up.

((phil)).... i'm sorry to hear of the troubles you have had lately. i'm very sorry to hear about them dear. i'm so very proud of you for the way you've been able to hold everything together during your difficulties. you'll get answers soon. i'm sure you will. but, i really admire your fighting spirit and the way you've been able to keep going through your struggles. you're really doing wonderfully! i'm thinking about you as well. take care dear.

(((shar))) i'm worried about you dear. i hope you are doing well. take care of yourself, ok? i'm also thinking about you darling. please do take care of yourself. very good care of yourself.

Thank you Karen_kay. Racer and shar are two tough gals with big hearts and amazing resilience.

If I have any philosophy that keeps me going, I'm not sure what it is but I will tell what I think it is in this little story.

When I went to my doctors office Friday for more labs, some 'jerk' in a big truck was kind of an aggressive driver in the parking lot. I got out of my truck and kind of waited for him to get out of his several spaces down. I figured I'd give him a look of disapproval then that would be it.
He got out of his truck, oblivious to me and walked in to the business a few doors down. It was a prosthetics business and I noticed he was wearing a prosthetic device where his right leg used to be.
I guess down deep, I figure I was put on this earth to learn a few things. How to be thankful regardless of my circumstances, how to forgive, how to be a kind person, and how to laugh despite missing the mark time after time.

Thank you for thinking about me.

phil, thank you for sharing your experience. i've actually read it several times. luckily, i don't often get annoyed with drivers, but the next time i do find myself in a situation where i am becoming annoyed, hopefully i'll remember your story and think differently about the situation. thank you again for sharing.

i too like to think i'm here to learn. and i just love to learn from others as well. i often times wonder if i'm allowing others to learn as much from me as i'm taking from them though. i suppose that's a bit to do with my own insecurities. but, that's a different thread, on a different day :)

and please don't thank me for thinking about you dear. thank you for allowing me to know you and giving me the opportunity to think about you. i really hope i'm not coming across as insincere, but i've met some very amazing people on babble (and in the world in general) and you happen to be one of them. take care of yourself phil (i'm certain you will). ...

Reminds me of a quote my boss gave me today:

"In every crowd, no matter how small, there's always at least one jerk."

Kinda humbling, and probably true.
