Hello, I'm new here. Can someone tell me how this all works? I mean, do I ask questions or do I tell you a little about myself or what?

Well, I guess that this is not a "real time" sort of place. I was hoping someone would say hello. Is there some sort of initiation period or what? I'm sorry if I am bothering anybody, but this looked like it might be a nice place to talk about things.

it's just a "jump right in" kinda place. sometimes it's really active, other times, not so much. people often have social activities on friday night. i am not one of those people.
share something of yourself if you like, or jump right into a thread with a supportive comment or question.

Thanks, Sabina. I was wondering if I was the only one out here tonight. I thought that this looked like a pretty active place. There seems to be some degree of petty arguing among some of the people. I read Dr. Bob's pages about posting, but it seems some people are not very nice to each other. Isn't this supposed to be a support group? Maybe I expected it would be like a small group setting (you know, like in "real life"). Maybe it is. I think I will look back 0ver some of the past postings in order to get a feel for what to expect. Again, thanks for saying "hi".
