Racer - Important!

Posted by Greg on November 8, 2000, at 8:26:28

Racer,

I am still following up on the status of the position you applied for. I patiently await an answer.

In the mean time, my company has branched off from the parent company and we are now called Tality. We have an opening for someone with your skillset and I'd like you to review it and see if you are interested in the position. The url is:

www.tality.com

Just follow the jobs link. If you think you are qualified let me know and I'll see that your resume is submitted post haste!

I hope you are well. My thoughts are with you.

Hugs,
Greg

Greg, you're so thoughtful! Thank you for thinking of me.

Which position sounded like me to you? I looked at a couple, but am not sure any of them are looking for me. I'd like to know which one so that I can look into it more.

Thanks again!

Hi again Greg,

That's a very interesting company, do you have an opinion with regard to job stability within the company? My husband may send them his resume, but he really requires a certain amount of job stability. He has worked for companies that are here today with their 401(k) and gone tomorrow without any sorrow. He has worked for companies where little bureaucratic men ran the show through SOP's and annual re-org's. He wants to find a company that offers a future, and doesn't demand job-hopping to get respect or a decent salary. Does Tality fit the bill?

I appreciate your time and energy, and your thoughtful kindness :-)

Dove,

Hi dear, hope you are well!

Tality is a division of it's parent company Cadence. Cadence is listed as #4 on the Fortune 500 list. We have complete financial backing of the parent company so should there be any slow times throughout the year, they will carry us thru. I can assure you that Tality is a safe, solid company and an excellent place to work.

If you like, your hubby can forward his resume to me and I will see that it makes it into the proper hands. A reference never hurts, right? He can either send it to the address at the top of this page or I will e-mail you with my work addy when I get home this afternoon, whichever you prefer.

I hope everyone on your end is healthy and happy!

Greg

Racer,

I responded via e-mail. Check it out and let me know, OK?
