Hello there,

Are you looking for help or offering it? Can you be a bit more specific about the information you are seeking? In addition you can do a search below and you will find a lot of threads/posts with information about Parnate.

I have experience with Parnate and would be happy to answer any questions I can.

Btw- you may want to move this thread to the medication board. It will get more attention there.

Jade :)

I am new to this so not even certain how to post?
I took Parnate for over 28 years (in that time tried Prozac, Zoloft and Luvox with bad side effects). Lived Parnate but had a hypertensive episode and apparently a couple before but didn't realize. I confess I never followed the diet closely. Also as the years went by so many meds were added to the "major" interaction list that hadn't been on it. Many I had been given for a couple surgeries (pain meds) and never had a problem. I am one of the lucky ones that has problems with AD's. Tried brintellix now Lexapro. Help!! I'm looking for feed back on Parnate users who do follow the diet and any experience with surgeries etc.

It looks like you are posting just fine. Would you mind if I move this to the med board? You'll probably get more responses there.

As for my Parnate experience, I was on it for probably a year and had one hypertensive crisis. It was because my GP prescribed a contraindicated pain med. I'm sorry I don't recall which one. The ambulance came and got me and I spent the day in the emergency room. I'll post you the diet that I used at the time with no problems.

Jade

Here's the diet I, and many others, used with Parnate with no problems that I'm aware of. Hope that helps.
