I dreamt that I lost my mind and ended up in the wrong hospital; that I had forgotten how to eat.
I dreamt that I had to find my way from chicago to NYC in 10 minutes or else miss my coveted pdoc appt.
I dreamt that I was late and would be punished.
Just a sampling of the last few days' nightmares....

Do you think it's related to your medication increase (those always mess up my dreams)?
I hope you can soon return to mornings of not remembering what you dreamed about at all. That's when I figure my sleep is working "properly".

OH LL,
Maybe there is a bad dream bug going around? Last night I dreamed I was lost and at some stranger's house. But somehow my husband found me.

> Do you think it's related to your medication increase (those always mess up my dreams)?
>maybe... I hadn't thought of that. There's also the medication decrease-- I took a holiday from klonopin, and am only now starting to take .5mg prn.
> I hope you can soon return to mornings of not remembering what you dreamed about at all. That's when I figure my sleep is working "properly".
>I wish it were only mornings. the worst dreams happen in the afternoon when I nap. I just get so exhausted by the nightmares that I crave that nap. ugh.
I forgot to tell T of recent bad dreams.

I have found I have to be very careful about what I read or watch on tv or movies. Violence, sad, scary in--bad dreams out.
Sometimes I try to remember my favorite park--twisty trails and lots of flowering shrubs and trees.
Some meds make them worse. I think I like not remembering dreams the best.

To help my daughter with her homework I've been readin a biography of Himmler.
So far it hasn't given me bad dreams.
The previous night though I dreamed that my dick fell off.

Sigismund, I believe it is a good thing you were not a patient of Freud, I believe he would have definitely put you in the hospital with a dream of that...yes definitely in the weird category.
I agree with Phillipa, you made me laugh although I doubt you laughed during the dream itself.
I find myself being afraid of my dreams lately. And upon awakening I am having flashbacks, I think the time just upon awakening your mind is much more open to whatever the brain wants to send your way.

Well then I am grateful that Freud is so out of fashion these days.
