Dream interpeters , please help!

Posted by happyflower on November 2, 2007, at 12:10:45

Last night I dreamed I was still doing daycare with a bunch of kids in my house. Well the kids kept doing horrible stuff and running in off limits of my house. I couldn't get control of the situation.

Then one kid dumped a bunch of my daughters pins (nails)all over the floor. I keep stepping on them and getting them stuck in my hands, so I had to pull them it out and it hurt. Plus they went deep because they were very long. I kept trying to keep out to the way of the kids, but a kid would do something and I had to leave the mess to deal with something else. It was so frusterting. One kid dumped her bottle all over the kitchen floor, one pooped their pants. I guess it was more like a daycare nightmere. I just kept trying to keep the kids safe and clean until the parents came to pick them up, but things kept happening to prevent that. I even tried to spank a kid (which I don't do even if my own kids). But I kept missing because she wouldn't stay still.

Very weird dream, so much for my restful sleep. Any ideas what this all means?

it sounds like you are just stressed with chaos.
does your life feel less controlled than normal. (like you have no control over anything).
it seems that crazed kids typically represent chaos, and fear. lack of control, but with a fear of harm.

about the pins, sounds like stuff having to do in thearpy. keep hurting each session, you having to basically do it to yourself, you talk, you hurt about it.
and maybe even though you are talking about what you think you need to talk about in thearpy, that there is something that is inside that you should be talking about (having to leave one mess to deal with something else)

But remember you ARE dealing with just SO much right now.
it COULD just be a dream that lets you exert pent up energy...sometimes those active dreams make me feel better in the morning...

ok...that was interesting.
JMHO!

take care you

Happyflower stress dream. Trying to fix things and everything keeps going wrong. The harder you try the more frantic and more demanding the things become used to get them when nursing couldn't find my patients to give them meds or care for them. They are frightening and horrible and hard to shake. Phillipa

LOL Yes Chaos !!(and yes I had to look at your post to spell it! lol)Well that is what the dream felt like, I guess that is what my life is kinda like right now, out of control or maybe I have the fear of being out of control? Good idea, makes sense. or I just thought about something...
something on the horizens next week....EEEEKKKK! My concert is on Wed. and I have these solos.
So maybe it a combination of stuff because I also have a major paper due the day after my concert too.

I didn't think about the pins representing therapy. How did you you know? lol I think I know what the inside hurt is, that I want my T to believe I have dealt with, and I have a little , but there is some hurt there. It is about my old T, I miss him so much, especially during these times where he would have been a comfort to me. I guess it is like being without my blankie or something. Good interperting B2 Why is it so hard to interpet our own dreams?

Yes Phillipa!

It must be stress, I have a lot right now . I am beginning to believe there is something to the interpeting of dreams. There has to be a reason we dream. Thanks as always, Phillipa

Up too close perhaps, Happyflower. I agree with the dream interpreters. You have had so much to deal with that you can do nothing about, your dear brother's death, brave little Lia's difficulties and the gut-wrenching loss of your T. It's like you feel so overwhelmed - you work on one thing, then something else happens and it's so, so hard because it feels like its never going to end. Does that make sense?

You are the strongest and bravest person I know. Take care of yourself dear. In time things will be manageable. I'm so sorry you've had to go through so much. ((((Happyflower))))
