everything is so hard / overwhelmed MT

Posted by kerria on October 15, 2006, at 1:18:48

The past weeks and now are unbelievably hard to live. It feels like we're backed into a corner without a way out and everything is falling apart with each one of my parts.

i used to have a repreive at work- now even the work part is losing it there. People are reacting against us. Family - h is angry- triggering.
i need to have surgery- decision is so hard- no where is safe to recuperate.
T is hurting instead of helping me cope, too busy to schedule, it feels that he's given up and labeled me 'hopeless' and i'm not on his priority list so he doesn't do anything in sessions.
MT
tears. i can't believe my life is so bad now. the pelvic pain is so triggering, the surgery for it is also. and afterwards many people who have it are not better. We have to try - the pain is too bad but it's so hard to be stuck at home, dependant upon everyone when i'm in so much pain. H is angry so much now if i even talk. i feel so trapped. Losing it again.

Afraid to go to sleep, afraid to wake up in pain, over and over.

I'm sorry to hear of the stress and distress you are feeling, being overwhelmed with physical and emotional pain. That's so hard, especially when you don't feel supported.
Just do the best you can, that's all we can ask of ourselves, right?
Maybe you can get some help with the physical pain in the meantime? Can you get any meds for it?

"Afraid to go to sleep, afraid to wake up in pain, over and over."

Kerria, I am so sorry that you're so ill and so scared. I know what you're talking about when it comes to sleep. I used to lie in the bed, in pain, and pray for the dark to turn to light.

Is there anyone in your family that can help you? A sister, brother, anyone? Do you have a minister that you could talk to? Is home health an option?

I wish you a pain free night and some rest. Pat

Thank you Canadagirl. yes, i have some meds thankfully but i need surgery to help the pain hopefully. Right now i'm too overwhelmed to schedule it.

when i looked at the date - it's a bad time for me- an anniversary of a very sad time.

Thank you Pat- good advice- i went to church and it helped. i need to schedule the surgery but i feel too overwhelmed now. i wish i could get myself together. it's a sad anniversary- i have trouble every year getting past it.

i feel so against seeing T- my t appt is always scheduled a different time every week. i wish T could help me- it upsets me more to go to t . Last week i thought that he hung up on me for days- i was so upset when i called- about something terrible that happened at work.

It turned out that he didn't hang up on me- the cell phone just lost the call. i was so hurt for so many days that i can't see T now .

He's always so busy- need to find another T who has more time- i can't because it's too hard a time now.
tears,
kerria

Sorry its so hard Kerria :-(
Sorry this is such a bad time right now.
Wish we could do more for you.
But sometimes just talking helps some.
Makes me feel less alone.
If you could do some planning to do stuff after this anniversary has passed.
Yeah, I like having the same day and time each week to see T. I get a little wigged when she changes, cuz then I not so sure. Have to write it down and check lotsa times.
Your doing good to be posting Kerria.
Its so nice to hear from you.
Take care,
Muffled
