I guess sleepwalking, bedwetting, child abuse and stress seem to be some common factors in this sleepsomnia.

Wonder what Freud would say about me! LMAO! (nm)

just trying to break up your string of 3 posts :o)

At least your guy tells you when there's nocturnal activity...

Imagine if you were living in a college dorm, struggling with sexsomnia!

Funny Story alert:

This guy I knew was an occasional sleepwalker. Anyways, so his college roommate was gone for the weekend, and it was hot, so he slept naked. Apparently went to bed pretty early, and the RA (that's the resident assistants- our dorm parents) were having a meeting in the dorm lobby. This guy got up, walked right through the lobby and got a drink of water at the water fountain and then went back to sleep in his room. He got some funny looks the next morning, and couldn't remember a thing. I guess someone told him. And thats right around the time that he stopped sleeping in the buff.

-ll
sweet dreams!

Hey llrrrppy!

I loved your story. LOL But the thing is my DH doesn't know the full extent of it. He knows sometimes I will touch him and then roll over and fall asleep snoring in the middle of the night. He was joking before that yeah, I turn him on, and then leave him hanging. But he doesn't know me waking up in the act or anything.
BUt it something I need to be careful about.
Thanks for your post. But I haven't had sex in over 1 year now, so I don't care.

I guess I am seeing the humor in this because I didn't think I was odd until my T said turning on my DH in my sleep is odd, then I look on the internet and wow! I am REALLY Strange. But I kinda like it. LOL My T says it just makes me unique and he doesn't see it as a problem. SO I guess I should just laugh at myself. LOL

that's a great attitude, happyflower!
you can call me sllrrrppy as long as you promise to use it in the proper context. I can easily imagine how that particular nickname can get out of hand! I'll leave it go your good judgment :)

Isn't it amazing how little quirks get classified as a "disorder"? I think if it's not hurting anyone and it's not bothering you and making it hard to get your life's work done- then leave it at that it's a quirk- sometimes charming, sometimes annoying.

I have a quirk too- I'm messy. I'm not convinced it's pathological. It might be inefficient, and it's exacerbated with depression, but it's ME!

Well, your quirk is just a little more unusual (special!) than my quirk.

best wishes, happyflower :)
yours,
