Life has been blissful the past several months

Posted by orchid on June 12, 2006, at 14:53:18

By God's great mercy, life has been very blissful for the past several months.

For the most part I have been very happy and relaxed and joyful and cheerful. It has been nice. And marriage has been very good - husband has turned out to be a wonderful guy and I am constantly happy to be with him.

The problems have been far and few, and mostly that was able to be overcome with little efforts.

My RA pain had decreased so much - I stopped my 5 mg steroids and 400 mg brufen which I was taking continously before.

And I have been out of depression and any issues. Haven't cried even once in the recent days.

Thanks to you folks, and everyone else who helped me in the difficult times. And most especially to God. I have the feeling that since I have increased my prayers these days, the good lucks come more. And my husband has got a wonderful promotion, so that compensates for whatever loss of income due to my leaving my job.

On the whole it has been really nice and blissfully happy.

I just wanted to share. So good lucks do come in life - very unexpectedly when you are in the worst of times and think of giving up. So no one, please don't give up. Hang in there, keep working out and pray, and definitely good times are around. Please don't give up, and please don't do anything to yourself that causes permanent damage.

I’m really glad you’ve had such a good time these last few months. I remember how distressed you were about leaving the US and about what the future might hold for you. So I’m really delighted that you’re happy and healthy!

> For the most part I have been very happy and relaxed and joyful and cheerful. It has been nice. And marriage has been very good - husband has turned out to be a wonderful guy and I am constantly happy to be with him.

That’s really good news. Wonderful husbands are worth their weight in gold!

> My RA pain had decreased so much - I stopped my 5 mg steroids and 400 mg brufen which I was taking continously before.
> And I have been out of depression and any issues. Haven't cried even once in the recent days.

Again, that’s excellent. Good health is so important to happiness, isn’t it?

Fantastic! I’m so pleased for you!

Thanks for the words of hope. And thanks for sharing your good fortune!

Orchid
Thanks for sharing something positive and something that gives me hope. I wish I had some hope for all that you have been given. Unfortunatly I think having my husband turn into a Mr. wonderful is hopeless. And him getting a new job is hopeless as well. But I have myself to make my own happiness. I work on it everyday. My therapist is wonderful and so are my 2 daughters. They give me love and balance in my life. I'd do anything for my girls. I'm grateful to have them. And I have some wonderful friends. Friends are important too.
I'm so happy for you and can feel your peace.
Hugs
LadyBug

Thanks Tamar. I really feel God is the one who turned it around for me. I was such a mess, and how I am feeling now is unbelievably good. Today my GP saw me, and said "wow you look good.". And it is the first time she has said that ever. And I am on my lowest weight ever since I remember, and doing fine.

Granted there is some pain from RA and adjustments with my husband and things going south every now and then, but I feel somehow if I depend on God, I will be able to sail through life just fine.

I have to say thanks to you also, for the tons and tons of help you had given me. I wouldn't have made it without you and the other babblers here.

Thanks so much Lady Bug. You are a very nice person too, and you definitely deserve a good life. I feel and have practically realized that prayers work miracles.

If not with your current husband, for all you know, there could be a much better life waiting for you with someone else. Though I would suggest you give it the maximum possibly try with your hubby, if that totally doesn't work out, then do remember there are always options out there.

Prayers for you.

Hi Orchid , my names scentedgarden pleased to meet you... I have seen both of your posts this, and the other more recent one where you ask for someone to babble mail you.

I am very keen to speak to you because you seem to have faith in God in your life and the power of prayer and i would be very happy to discuss this in more detail as i too believe in God and im also working through alot of things in therapy CBT...have been for 3 years in therapy and it's very hard right now with the feelings for my female therapist..and im very keen to have a real person in my lifeto have a real relationship with me,,,and not a theraputic one if you know what i mean.

anyway i liked the fact you took the time to report back not only when things were down, but when things were going well for you and your life/family too. and the fact that you have thanked God aswell is very nice for me to see.

I hope im not being too forward or anyhting, and that im able to put across myself in the manner intended.., and I for one would really like to babble mail you Orchid, but, I don't know how !

How funny i cant work out how to do it.but if you want to email me my address if very appropriate since you have a flower name =

flowerswelcome@yahoo.co.uk

I look forward to corresponding with you if you feel like it too, as I am in need of some friends right now, even although i have God, I don't have any friends

bye bye for now

Hi ScentedGarden (nice name :-))

Nice to see you around here too. I have read some of your posts too, and the one about your feelings for your T. They are very natural and can be worked out with help. I hope you feel better about her soon.

I don't usually do babble mails myself too. In fact I have used them only maybe 3 or 4 times in the past several years. Only when things need to be really very discreet. Why don't you write here in the babble board, and I will offer my views whenever I am online - there is another reason to saying this, starting next week, I am going on an international travel, and I won't be online all that much for quite some time - maybe for 2 -3 months. So I don't want to give you the false hope of being able to correspond regularly via email. Please post here, and I will respond whenever I can (whenever I am online).

If you do want to babblemail me though, all you have to do, is to click on my name and you can send one. However I don't check my babble mail regularly, so please indicate that you have sent one by posting a note about it here.

Hope to see more of you around.

Hi Orchid -

Thank you for the nice reply...and for being honest about your travel schedule.I will bear in mind your advice and i will probably not be posting that much personal stuff on here at the moment as im just not comfy with it.still its very nice for you to say that you think its natural....i t feels very natural to me, feelings i never had so strongly before if ever, but im afraid it will just make therapy with her awkward/and uncomfortable for her...its fun right now and she obviously really likes me as she stares right into my eyes all the time and she laughs and smiles all the time with me.in fact i think she always looks lighter and easier with herslf when the session is oveer than when it began....i seem to bring out the younger, and lighter side of herself.the child in heer.and she lets her boundaries slip alot with me....justin some of the things she does and says...nothing major or unethical...just friendly like..... so, if i tell her everything and then she will need to back off and place even higher boundaries between us to keep her ethically safe..i know she will never abuse me, so i dont see the sense in telling her this and then losing her further to the boundary thing.....at same time i dont really want to talk to her about anything else either, as she's not in my life really and so by bringing my outside life to her i miss her so much in between if you see what i mean....

oh just realised i have gone on and on like i said i wouldn't do...i guess i just want to know your advice in this situation.I am in love with her as a woman ...and i love her as a mommy, the 2 are overlapping .....and it...well i dont know what else to say ....so leave it there for now.

Im so glad you have got the blissful part of life going, and i too believe it is from God and his intervention, as i know he is my best friend and helps me with everything....

post back if you have the time and if you have any advice for me please... GOD BLESS YOU ORCHID...
Bye bye - and thank you from,
scentedgarden

p.s i always feel great after the session too..so great that by the end of the day im usaully a wash with tears as i miss her and then i cry for her like a child and that hurts alot but im getting through it. it she knew how much i hurt i think shed be very rigid and blank with me and i dont want that ...do you understand what i mean Orchid?

Thanks again for listening, and everything...

Hi Scented Garden,
My suggestion would be to talk to your T about this. I have to say again, that it is very natural to feel this way. And that many if not most clients feel this way, and most therapists know it and are trained to handle it.

And one thing that would help is to look at the babble archives and participate more here where lot of people go through the same difficulty that you are going through.

And I don't think you need to be more discreet about it, since pretty much all of us here know what is going on. But if you wish to, then that would be fine too. But then remember, if you are being way too discreet, then you are minimising your chances of being helped.

Take Care

THANKS Orchid for your support, from scentedgarden (nm) » orchid
